(benzphetamine 50 mg)
Application
This medication is an appetite suppressant. Amphetamine.
Interaction
Compounds the effects of most other CNS stimulants. Should not be used
within 2 weeks of use of monoamine oxidase inhibitors.
Insulin requirements may change for diabetics.
Tell your doctor or dentist before any medical or dental treatments or
surgery.
Side Effects
Blurred vision, dizziness, dry mouth, sleeplessness, irritability, stomach
upset or constipation may occur the first few days as your body adjusts to
the medication. If these effects persist or become bothersome, inform your
doctor. Serious side effects may result form use other than prescribed by
your Doctor.
Precautions
Give your doctor your complete medical history especially if you
are being treated for depression, high blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid
or glaucoma. Limit alcohol and caffeine use. Tell your doctor if you are
breast-feeding or think you are pregnant. For more information consult

Avoid driving or operating equipment if this medication makes you
irritability, nervousness or dizzy and inform your Doctor.
When tolerance develops, the drug should be discontinued.
Contraindicated for patients that abuse drugs, have arteriosclerosis,
cardiovascular disease, glaucoma, hypertension, or a history of
irritability.
Do not breast feed, excreted in breast milk.
Do not use if you are pregnant, it may be potential hazardous to the baby.
Additional Information
Keep this and all medications out of the reach of children. It is illegal
to give this medication to others. To work well, incorporate a diet and
exercise program with the use of this appetite suppressant.
